Connecting People to Their Native Ecosystem

Our primary mission is to foster and grow a shift in regional consciousness toward a sacred connection with the shared ecosystem and our place within it.

How we do that:

At our Sacred Land Stewardship non-profit project in Northeast Pennsylvania, we work with individual landholders, trusts, partnered non-profits, and governmental agencies to promote sustainable living through ecological restoration, native permaculture, and regenerative agroforestry projects.

Our services include:

Free
native plant nursery:

Through our partnerships with the Keystone 10 Million Trees project, Pennsylvania DCNR, regional foundations, and local citizen scientists, we are able to maintain and keep a free-to-residents native plant nursery, which we use to provide up to 100% in-kind match for project costs to help reduce cost of entry barriers for budding grove keepers.

No land? No problem.

There are many ways to make a difference on the land around you. The free-to-residents native plant nursery always has more room for extra hands. We lead demonstrations, workshops, and volunteer opportunities. Check out our events page for upcoming opportunities.

We've been pretty busy making the world better, one tree at a time.
